I am ArtistXero, a biblical illustrator, an artist of the Bible. I did not set out to be such a thing. I grew up on Bible stories, classic hymns and old fashioned preaching, but I also grew up on comic books and fantasy novels and 80's cartoons. As a kid I had every intention of becoming either a comic book or fantasy artist, but unexpectedly, to me at least, all my childhood influences congealed when I grew up and made me a Bible artist instead.

With my Bible art I try to breathe new life into the classic Bible stories. Since my artistic influences lean towards powerful heroes and fantastic events, so too does my biblical art tend toward the visually dynamic rather than the historically accurate. I'm not interested in painting the, what I call, "guys in robes talking" paintings that much of biblical art is made up of. No give me the divine, supernatural and epic moments of the Bible.

Being an artist of the Bible is a labor of love for me. I hope to one day make an actual living as a biblical illustrator for the sole purpose of being able to make even more Bible based art. The Bible is the biggest and most important book there is and I've only just started illustrating it. Check back often for updates.
